Why is the name of this production company BuddhaBaby?

Simply put, Buddha is the enlightened one. When one becomes truly enlightened in the Buddhist philosophy, one becomes a Buddha. The other fact is that all babies are brought into this world being truly enlightened, until they become domesticated around age three. They are then taught prejudice, hatred, resentment, self-doubt, and usually how to love with strings attached. This reshapes our entire outlook on ourselves and others. We are basically taught fear of intimacy.

BuddhaBaby's logo includes an upside down triangle which, in Hindu philosophy is a Yantra. A Yantra is a geometric figure intended to represent a basic energy. This upside down triangle represents female energy. On either side of the triangle are B´s for BuddhaBaby. Viewed differently, they look like two arms and two legs. Joined with the upside down triangle, they look like a babies’ body. Here the logo represents female energy in it´s most innocent form, the enlightened one, the baby.

Zen Enlightenment

BuddhaBaby is about zen enlightenment. Zen enlightenment revolves around two key Buddhist concepts, love and compassion. In Buddhist teachings love and compassion stand for wanting ourselves and others to be happy and free from suffering. True Buddhists are known to be consumed by compassion, wanting to relieve the suffering of the people of the world. The most wide-spread suffering that people have to deal with in developed countries today is the emotional suffering we derive from low self esteem and self doubt.

BuddhaBaby wants to enable an endless cycle of mind body spirit self-discovery, self-growth and sharing with like-minded individuals who want to feel comfortable with sharing themselves and seeking enlightenment.

BuddhaBaby is the home of an inspirational speaker who prescribes an enlightened and innocent approach to life that enables a calm and fearless existence; a way to gain intimacy and feel safe about it. BuddhaBaby´s inspirational CDs deal with emotional suffering by sharing the inspirational speaker´s personal thoughts and experiences as they relate to mind body spirit and zen enlightenment.
